The Holiday Catalog goes live TODAY!! You'll notice the layout is a little different than what you're used
to....I like that the front of the catalog is like a magazine, and the
back is the catalog. Took me a few times to get used to this, but I
love the inspiration that is in the magazine!!!

The Holiday catalog is LIVE and available to order
from! If you have ordered from me in the past year, you should have
received one in the mail. They do get lost or thrown out by husbands
so if you have not received yours, please email me with your name and
mailing address so I can mail you one!
See the catalog come to life! See page 5 of Holiday catalog for
details. You can download the free app called LAYAR in your APP store
or Google Play. When you see the red icon in the catalog, scan the
catalog page and it unlocks a special video showing you more about that
product! (for me, I had to touch my screen when I saw a video come up
then it played) If you don’t have a mobile device, you can visit www.stampinup.com/showmehow
I’m over the top excited for these new THINLITS
card dies! They’ve been called flip cards, flip flop cards, swing
cards, and more-but they have always been a bit tricky to create. Not
anymore! Our amazing new Thinlits Card Dies cut and score to create a
card that flips in just one step. 2 sets to choose from, Label and Circle. (Check out my previous blog posting about them HERE)
Here they are in action -
There is great coordinating stamp and measurements info on the flier.
With a new month, we have a new "BEST OF" stamp set. For August, we have best of Halloween. I don't know about you, but I love that spooky tree with the owl in it!!
I have started a hostess code for a Holiday Catalog OR a Thinlit Die order! Anyone that orders between NOW and August 20 should use the HOSTESS CODE J9ZVVFJS.

Below is a card I made using the Perfectly Preserved stamp set from the Holiday Catalog. I can see a lot of possibilities with this card PLUS there are dies (Framelits) that match for cutting out the images. If you buy the bundle of the stamp set and the dies, you save $$$ (and we all want to do that!) On this card, I stamped the jar onto vellum and cut it out (using the die). The flower stems are stamped directly onto the white rectangle. The flowers and leaves are stamped onto scrap white and punched out (with the die). I cut about 1 1/2" off the side of the Peach Parfait paper (retired). The Sale-a-bration DSP and the Pear Pizazz scallop strip (all retired) are adhered to the inside of the card. I also used some of the Pear and Peach ribbon from Saleabration. I just love this Everyday Enchantment DSP even though it is retired. I ordered a pack of it before it retired and now wish I had ordered more!!

Published!
"Congratulations on having your art published in Catch Up Issue! We are grateful you chose to share your creativity with us and that we have had the chance to showcase your work. We hope you are enjoying your time in the spotlight! As a published artist, you will be mailed a complimentary issue of this publication. Please allow until the 15th of this month for the delivery of your magazine."
I received the above in an e-mail May 7 but as of yet I have not received my magazine. So, I do not even know which card was featured in the magazine. I sent several cards to Take Ten magazine at least 6 months ago or more. I have had cards chosen to be published in these magazines before but it is real hit and miss whether they notify me or not. Several times I have been leafing through the magazine only to come across one of my cards! Surprise!! So if any of you have the latest Catch Up issue from Stampington & Co., please check for me.
